It’s very paramount to appreciate the one whom God has chosen for the people of Edo State. I grew up to an adult in Edo State; I’ve not witnessed for once such a rapid development in the state as Adams Oshiomohole administration. Then, we used to call Edo State the ancient city but yet the heartbeat of the nation. I’m quite sure the Nigerian comedian will bail me out on this fact if they are truly sincere.
The renovation of this project we all know was financed by the Federal government but the facts remain: If the city wasn’t designed to be attractive to investors, to boost the economy of the state, federal government won’t bothered considering renovating it to a world class standard.
The truth is, our country Nigeria will be among the best in the world if as an individual can take the pains most especially our leaders who think they cannot survive without involving in corruption.
A few years in power, the Benin ancient city is now a modern city what a transformation. May God continue to bless you and give you the wisdom to manage the affair of the state?
