Church Constructs N4.5m Clinic For Adamawa Community

It will be a better idea for all churches to practice''take and give'' attitude in their various location. When you some places in Africa, you see churches every nooks and crannies with great multitude yet the road that links those churches are rough /bad waiting for Federal government to approve such places for construction. Honestly, it might not work that way because you don't expect the government to do everything.
Everyone would see a rapid development at the grassroot level when churches are allowed and committed to develop some part where they dominate. Can you see how a health clinic worth N4.5 million has been constructed by the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria for the people Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa.

Speaking at the opening of a three-day conference of the Yola diocese on Friday in Gombi, acting Bishop of the Diocese, Reverend Ishaku Bala said that the clinic was built to address the health needs of the people in the area.

Apart from the health clinic, Bala said the church had implemented several human capacity buildings programme to improve the living standard of its members across the state.

“The church has also established poultry and fish ponds that will accommodate more than 1000 chickens and different variety of fish,” he said.

He said the main objective of the conference was to bring together followers to remind them of the words of God and to discuss the way forward.

On insecurity challenges, he advised followers to repent of their sinful ways and leaders to show the fear God in all their activities.

He said the diocese had recorded significant progress economically and spiritually.
